Need easier way to select several lines in -GC descriptions

The selection of multiple lines in -GC is not easy. It requires to shift+click on the very far right of the line (last column), which is not something users can easily realise by themselves. Other locations of the Shift+click are not taken into account, so that a user can't realise by himself it is actually possible to select multiple lines. Having to train users for a basic thing as selecting multiple lines in an editor is not acceptable for us. So, we request to have a more natural way to select multiple lines. Our request is to allow the user to shift+click anywhere on the line (in any column) to expand the selection (not just on the last column).
Additionally, more can be implemented in order to ressemble what standard editors are generally proposing :
- allowing to click+drag the mouse to select multiple lines
- allowing to use shift+arrow keys to expand selection

A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our business strategy. Further evaluation of this RFE is underway.
