Include RSU, RSL & CARS level in current state inventory reporting.

With the advent of Continuous Delivery, software “version” levels are becoming less relevant as a gauge of product level currency, as is the concept of “N” or “N-1”. Vendors are choosing to make SPE (Small Programming Enhancements) available on a more regular basis and as such “version” level releases are not as frequent, and support lifecycles can vary. How various products provide continuous delivery differs because of the unique role each plays, as well as each Vendor’s strategy for their products. Thus it would be extremely useful for software currency assessment of the software installed on the MF server fleet to include RSU / RSL / CARS level reporting (along with the software version). Currently RSU, RSL & CARS levels need to be manually maintained in a spreadsheet which is prone to human error.
