This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Since Covid many off use started working from home including the use of the TPF debugger.
However, at home you have more than 1 IP address and we know you can supply the IP address in the advanced option of the debug session.
But every day we log on to our net work we get a new IP-address and it happens a lot of time that we forget about it.
For example we always end up with a work IP-address the starts with 172.
So the mask would be 172.*.*.* and the toolkit should lookup an IP address that matches.
I guess other companies may have the same issue.
You can specify simply one * which will accept any workstation address.
That does not work! It will send the home network address as the IP to connect with (192.* etc).
You will never get the callback as the 192 address is unknown outside your home network.
This all means that that session has to be cleared on the TPF system itself to get it out of the way and we lose time.
Sometimes even a lot of time when the ECB you want to trap does not come into your debug session and continues into the system, database be changed and you have to reset the case or the way to get the ECB started may be a lot of work to setup (for example by another platform).
Is it possible that the IP-address you have to supply in the advanced options can contain some sort of mask?
Here is an example of the problem:

Now I have to use the ZDBUG CLEAR entry and wasted some time.
If the mask was still at my IP address of yesterday the result is about the same.
