VATPF HELP System Installation on any Server Platform

Abstract: Possibilities to install the VATPF help and search functionality on any Inter/Intranet server platform (OS390, Websphere, IIS, Netscape, others)
Description: Installation of the VATPF Help files is currently possible locally on the desktops or on a server (CSD19). Starting from CSD20-22 it is now recommended to install it on a server running IIS for better performance on the search.

It is required to have the possibility to install it on any Inter/Intranet Server platform (OS/390, Websphere, IIS, or other) and not only a Microsoft platform.

For maintainability and customization of the help it is easier to have only one instance of the VATPF Help available to every developer.

Not each LAN or NT server has IIS running. For those who are not running their web services on IIS but on Websphere or OS/390 or other platform it is not possible to take advantages of a central managed help on the inter/intranet with the help search engine.
Critical Success Factors: Platform independent installation.
Alternative Solutions: Not available to my knowledge
Solution Considerations: Make the HELP accessible by a real URL for example: http:\\VATPFHLP.KLM.COM will result in home page of HELP.
