Request options to suppress SSL HANDSHAKE ERRORs on the TPF console.

SSL HANDSHAKE ERRORs on the console can occur as frequently as 2 messages per minute. When a client accesses the HTTPS server using an uncertified URL or an IP address those error messages are generated on the console. For SSL servers with many clients, it's unavoidable. Also on test systems with non-public certificates, the errors occur normally. Frequent console messages are unnecessary and annoying.

Current console error message(PUT15):
INET0142E 13.52.12 SSL SERVER HTTPS443 HANDSHAKE ERROR -
RC = 1 - SSL ERROR SSL+

INET0144E 13.52.12 SSL SERVER HTTPS443 RECEIVED
60 ADDITIONAL HANDSHAKE ERRORS IN LAST MINUTE+

We'd like to have an option to control the error messages. For example, a new parameter in the SSL configuration file /etc/ssl/inetd/SVRNAME.conf would be helpful:
HANDSHAKEERROR=YES|NO|logfilepath

Depending on the option, SSL HANDSHAKE ERRORs could be generated on the console, suppressed, or logged to a specified file path.

    We discussed this RFE internally with the z/TPF design team. While we understand in a test environment, the message may be coming out and causing confusion for the operations team, we are questioning the business value to justify spending resource on this. While this may be normal in your test environment, it is still an error nonetheless and something we believe the TPF system should be reporting. Due the low priority of this and the likelihood of having this prioritized above other more important things, we don't see this RFE being addressed for quite some time. For these reasons, we decided to reject the RFE. Please let us know if you would like to discuss further.
