REQUIREMENT ABSTRACT
Enhance debugging experience for loosely coupled multi-processor debug session.
REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION
For multi-processor systems, the current state is that the user must do one of the following options:
Option 1:
A) Somehow determine which processor is going to actually run the ECB to be debugged B) Create a connection to that processor C) Register the debug session D) Unregister.
Option 2:
A) Create a connection to each processor in the system B) Register on each processor in the system C) Debug the entry D) Unregister on each processor in the system.
In either case, the user needs to create multiple connections to the same system.
We request some enhancement to this process such as A) require registering only once and it would be extended to all processors, B) only have to unregister once, C) etc. Providing the user a 'Register on all Processors' option in the Debug Session properties window would be nice.
SOLUTION CONSIDERATIONS
Modify the TPF Toolkit and/or z/TPF as required.
