Online load of File system files should be logged by PFS

Since z/TPF software development and version control requires a non-z/TPF platform there is a requirement to maintain on that software development platform a list of programs (and versions) loaded on the z/TPF system.
Before TPF41 APAR PJ25880, which introduced the “Positive Feedback System” that enabled automatic synchronization of the off-platform TPF loader input files with E-type program loader activity, this was an error prone manual process.
z/TPF APAR PJ32902 enabled file system files to be versioned and loaded using the E-type “program” loader. This allowed the user to package file system files in a loadset that can be loaded and activated as a single unit and even combine programs and file system files in one loadset!
PJ32902 however, neglected to update the “Positive Feedback System” to include file system files E-type loader activity. Following a load/activate/accept of a loadset containing file system files only, an off-platform load list requires manual synchronization as before PJ25880 because there is no means to positively identify the files updated,
We would like to see this omission addressed…

Based on the results of the 2019 TPFUG ballot and the effort involved to implement this requirement, IBM does not intend to implement this in the foreseeable future.
