Automatically issue ZUDFM DEF INIT when activating or deactivating a DBDEF

When changes are made to a DBDEF, a ZUDFM DEF INIT must be done to rebuild the DBDEF index table. When a procedural mistake is made and the ZUDFM DEF INIT is not issued, a variety of error conditions can occur. This could be prevented if a ZUDFM DEF INIT was automatically performed by the system when a program that contains DBDEFs is activated or deactivated. Also, it may be advantageous to have a system setting that disables this feature for customer determined circumstances.

We currently have an in-house mod that generates ZUDFM DEF INIT whenever a DBDEF is loaded. The process also generates a ZUDFM DEF REL/CREATE … which is what we would like included if/when IBM provides this capability. Thanks.
