Currently when an ECB on TPF uses the MQ client to get a message from a queue on a remote server the ECB is suspended if there are no messages on the queue to give back to the application. If there are a large number of queues that are being serviced in this manner then there will be a significant impact to resources on TPF.

TPF needs a facility to allow the ECB who requested the message to be able to immediately exit and then a new ECB be created when the message is finally added to the queue. This will allow the MQ client interface to be used on TPF without consuming large amounts of resources and having multiple ECBs suspended waiting for the messages to arrive.
