V12127 BUILD SQLC PROGRAM WITH A DB2 ENVIRONMENT On z/OS

TPFUG_Req_Number: V12127
ORIGIN DATE: 31/07/2012
REQUIREMENT ABSTRACT

Update the MakeTPF solution in order to select the z/OS db2 tools for
building SQLC programs (C or C++)

REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION

The MakeTPF tools do not support the sqlc/sqc conversion on z/OS.
The sqlc/sqc conversion is only run on linux and it is expected that
the db2 preprocessor is installed and available for use there.

SOLUTION CONSIDERATIONS

The solution should implement an easy way to switch from a DB2
environment on z/OS to DB2 on zLinux in order to support eventual
migrations.
