Preserve DBA and dumps when force deac is done

HP has various scenarios where there is a need to force deac a processor, and in those cases, we'd like to preserve the dumps. With streaming dumps, or a processor hang, as well as in the case of a catastrophic dump, it typically makes sense in our environment to force deac the processor to avoid various issues. Our initial request was to force dumps to tape, but IBM suggested that we could preserve the Dump Buffer Area (DBA)/dumps in the DBA as an alternative solution, including cases where the processor has been force deac'd. We agree that this would be a viable option, which is why this RFE is being opened for it. When the processor is re-IPLd to bring it back into the complex, z/TPF could determine if the DBA is still valid, and if so, write any dumps in the DBA to tape (once in 1052 state).
Assuming that this gets addressed by IBM, we'd like to see the design prior to it being coded, so as to ensure the end product will meet our requirements/needs.

IBM does not expect to implement this requirement in the foreseeable future.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - z Systems Software
    Product - z/TPF

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
