Based on effort and priority, IBM does not intend to implement this in the foreseeable future.
The business value of having a client connect user exit is unclear. The user exit would either be called before the connect starts or after it completes. It is unclear how a user exit would help with connectivity issues instead of waiting for timeouts. Restricting client access to ports is a job of a firewall either in the network or on a remote platform.
Feel free to add comments providing additional value for having a user exit if you would like IBM to reconsider this RFE.
