Request for USER FIELD TWO in IDSXFC

Control Transfer Block (IDSXFC) currently contains a USER FIELD ONE (XFCUSER) that is defined as a fullword at displacement X'A8'. The next field is XFCEVNAM that is defined as a doubleword at displacement X'B0'. We are interested in utilizing the space that is not used (4 bytes) that is undefined due to the doubleword alignment. Can another user field (USER FIELD TWO) be defined there as a fullword?

    It is now 2020. Back in 2014, we had a project that would attempt to tally all work done by various application ECBs and assign the total work back to the parent ECB and the entry that was used to create the parent. This has since been accomplished using other methods. This RFE is no longer needed.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - z Systems Software
    Product - z/TPF

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - z/TPF
