Pushdown Chaining enhancement

TPFUG_Req_Number: DF13199
ORIGIN DATE: 01/14/2013
REQUIREMENT ABSTRACT (required)

When leveraging Pushdown chaining option, provide consistent push down logic regardless of how items are added.
Today, when prime block is full and if we do a READ BEGIN followed by an ADD BEFORE, the Prime is split into two with half going into chain.
This works differently from conventional ADD which pushes entire lrecs in prime to chain.
To circumvent the problem, programmer checks if prime is full. If so, instead of [DBRED BEGIN, DBADD BEFORE], issues DBADD only.

REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION (required)

Allow any DBADD to push the entire content of the prime lrec to the chain, as opposed to splitting the Prime in half.

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS (optional)

ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS (optional)

SOLUTION CONSIDERATIONS (required)

Internally within TPFDF, apart from reading the record, the record should also be deleted.
