IBM intends to implement this by supporting the -t option on ZFILE du
Hello,
The wording of this RFE implies that a possible solution to this problem is a sort option on the ZFILE du command. The standard Unix du command does not have a sort option. Instead, to sort the output of this command, you would be expected to pipe the output to a sort command. ZFILE sort is the other RFE that was opened in relation to this case.
The other option we discussed was supporting the -t (threshold) option on ZFILE du. This would filter the output of du such that only files above a certain threshold in size would be displayed.
May we interpret this RFE as a request to support the -t option on ZFILE du, rather than adding a sort option to du?
