Export Key from zTPF system to another zTPF System

Abstract
Ability to export a secure symmetric key and secure PKI key residing in the z/TPF keystore from one z/TPF system to another z/TPF system. There would be a new operator command to place the key to be exported in a file (the key information would not be in the clear in the file) that can then be sent (FTP'd) to the other z/TPF system where a different new command command would be issued to import the key into this z/TPF's keystore. Would also like the ability to perform the export functionality via the use of a programmatic API, similar to the existing tpf_secure_key_import() but as an export.

    Based on priority, IBM does not intend to implement this in the foreseeable future.

    The priority of this RFE is low based on the number of customers it would benefit and the state of applying TPF systems in other countries.

    You'll have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.

    This contains 2 requirements:  1) Export key from one z/TPF system to another - this has a TPFUG status of LIKELY 2) Generic key export from z/TPF - this has a TPFUG status of REJECTED - key export is a huge security risk and is not something IBM plans to do.
