Provide a way to monitor expiration dates of SSL peer certificates.

With Network compliance display (ZDCOM), we have a good tool to monitor expiration dates of local z/TPF certificates. But there are a large number of remote peer certificates for which we have no tool to monitor their expiration dates. Impact of expired peer certificates on MQ channels, High speed connectors, and HTTP client connections are critical. It costs us hours and possibly days of connection outage. We want to detect the problem early and warn our remote peers to renew their certificates ahead of time.

This is something that CITI would also welcome. If remote clients claim they have loaded updated Certs, there are scenarios when they have not completed the role out. TPF would like to be able to proof immediately that the certs have been rolled out completely before connectivity problem occur. Trust but verify. Early warning of trouble ahead. The certs valid date range comes in the client hello, TPF should be able to capture that data.
