Allow the user to customize attribute collection, keeping the current minimum set as "mandatory" and additional metrics as optional. In this way, the client will be responsible for granularizing the collection of metadata from the environment, as well as the balance between the desired level of detail versus the overhead caused.

We recently conducted a PoC for this client, which uses a competitor's solution (Dynatrace) in a small portion of its environment. Unfortunately, we were disqualified for failing to meet the following requirements:

  1. The CICS transaction information collector cannot provide data about the VSAM file used by the transaction, for example: DDNAME and/or DSNAME.

  2. The Db2 thread information collector is unable to report the SQL Statements that are being executed.
