This request is for a CICS PLT Shutdown program for the IBM Z Application Performance Management Connect product

We recently encountered an 0C4 abend at offset X'07C6' in program DFHDSTCB during CICS shutdown. We opened problem case TS020375660.  It was determined that zAPM was causing the abend.  IBM stated that this will happen sometimes and that we need to issue a 3270 command, AGMU,STOP before shutting down CICS to avoid the abend. We stated that our CICS regions are shut down by Automation scripts and altering those scripts to introduce a zAPM shutdown command will be cumbersome.  We asked if a zAPM PLT shutdown program is available.  We were told "zAPM does not have a shutdown PLT program. AGMU,STOP is required to prevent the abend."  The case was closed.  

Almost all the products that we install in CICS either detect that CICS shutdown is taking place and shut themselves down, or supply a PLT Shutdown program that we can easily add to our PLTSD table.  Having to issue a 3270 command to shutdown a product before we shutdown CICS is not desirable and has presented us with a more complicated implementation of zAPM.  Please create a CICS PLT Shutdown program for zAPM.  Thank you,
