Access to http headers in CICS-based service provider programs when called via CICS-Embedded zCEE

http headers are available to the provider program when called via native CICS WebServices as well as from a standalone zCEE (leveraging WOLA's linkTaskChanCtxContHttpHeaders parameter)

This capability is not supported by the CICS-Embedded zCEE implementation.

This requirement is addressed by z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition V3.0.8 / APAR PI95501:
    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?crawler=1&uid=swg1PI95501

This capability is delivered by use of the "Context Containers" capability, of the CICS Service provider. Though this requirement was originally for the CICS supplied service provider for running in embedded mode, the new IPIC based CICS Service Provider supplied with z/OS Connect EE has superseded it as the strategic option for all connections to CICS from z/OS Connect EE whether running standalone or embedded in CICS.

For further details, refer to the "Context Containers" topic in the z/OS Connect EE V3.0 Knowledge Center:
