This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This requirement is addressed by z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition V3.0.33 / APAR PH24143:

z/OS Connect EE has been enhanced to support the use of PassTicket authentication for IMS services. PassTickets can be use for identity propagation when calling IMS services.
For further details about configuring PassTicket support for IMS services, refer to the “Configuring PassTicket support for IMS services” topic in the z/OS Connect EE V3.0 Knowledge Center:

This is essential in adopting modern techniques like REST APIs to connect to IMS.
My preference would be that the security model more closely follows that for DB2 and other service providers with zCEE.
We have a large IMS footprint and we value a consistent security implementation.
I consider this a very important requirement as we should have a standard approach in implement Rest service for IMS as we do in our software like DB2 and CICS.
This requirement would need a change to IMS Connect to deliver. As such it is being transferred to the IMS team.
