This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This requirement is addressed by APAR PH30400:
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/apar/PH30400
which was shipped in z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition V3.0.43 / APAR PH34379:
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/apar/PH34379
The z/OS Connect EE API requester code has been updated to correctly translate decimal numbers with a large number of digits after the decimal point.
The build toolkit has also been updated to allow "defaultFractionDigits" to be specified in the properties file. The "defaultFractionDigits" parameter specifies the default number of fraction digits to use on a JSON decimal schema type. For COBOL, the valid range is 0-17, or 0-30 if parameter "wideComp3" is being used. For PLI, the valid range is 0-30. The default value is 3.
A sample of how to use "defaultFractionDigits" is in the sample_ara.properties in the build toolkit apiRequester samples directory
For further details about build toolkit properties for API requester, refer to the “The build toolkit properties file” topic in the z/OS Connect EE V3.0 Knowledge Center:
