z/OS Connect - Java based applications as API provider

Today we use z/OS Connect to expose CICS PL1/Cobol/DB2 applications as API providers. We would like to do something similar with Java-based applications as back-end. This way, we would like to consolidate and integrate all of our APIs via z/OS Connect, without the need of stub programs in between and doing the mapping of input and output structures ourselves manually.

    Hi,
This requirement is addressed by the Java JSON Passthrough API Sample which has been released and can be found here. The Java JSON Passthrough API Sample shows how to use a Java program as an API provider and to pass the JSON request and response payloads directly to and from the Java program.

Therefore this IDEA is being marked as "Delivered".
