To add maxLength validation on Date/time fields during copybook and WAR file generation

Currently z/OS Connect gives below error when maxLength keyword is provided along with Date/time  fields. We have this keyword from the non z/OS APIs we consume .

BAQP0017W: Failed to process operation (operationId: getRelationBasic, path: /v1/CRM/Relations/{RelationId}, method: GET). Reason: DFHPI9710E Invalid JSON schema. The JSON schema keywords "["maxLength"]" are not compatible with JSON schema format "date".

After opening a case TS021138048 , IBM has now changed the z/OS connect behaviour to ignore this error and proceed with generation of copybooks and WAR files.

We consider API first approach . Since this maxLength validation on Date field is a valid as per Open API specifications, we would expect zosconnect to work the same way.The conversion to copybook should consider the restriction on maxLength. Else we have to add it in the COBOL code and that is not what is desired as we are moving middleware logic towards business logic.

In the case, IBM has asked us to open a new idea. Hence creating this idea to add length validation for Date/Time fields.
