Flexibility for server instance data

1/ z/OSC EE forces me to put all server instance data in the /var/zosconnect/servers/<myServer> directory. I think that customers need more flexibility here. They should be able to specify a different directory structure. Ideally, different server data instances should be able to go into totally different structures.
2/ At a minimum, it would be nice if the "zosconnect create" command would tolerate that the specified server directory already exists. This would allow me to create a unique (distinct) zFS for a particular server and mount it at a pre-existing mount point (eg. /var/zosconnect/servers/MyNewServer) and therefore set up a zFS specific for a project, with it's own disk space and SAF access rights. Currently, when I tried to do that, I get a CWWKE0005E and CWWKE0045E error message saying "It was not possible to create the server called MyNewServer because the server directory xxxx already exists."

This requirement is addressed by z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition V2.0 APAR PI69668 (V2.0.4). For further details, refer to the APAR description:

Another problem with this inflexibility is the need to update the Installation Library with a pointer to the Instance (configuration) file system. This removes the complete independence of code libraries from configuration libraries, one of the strengths of the z/OS platform. The V1 product did not violate this standard, allowing the Instance data to be in any user selected directory.
