Support for Cobol Copybooks with Redefine Clause

Currently most of the core banking applications on mainframe have Cobol copybooks with redefine clause. Due to product limitation this will limit exposing API's for some of the key services.

RFE 90561 has been re-opened as exploitation of "allOf" and "oneOf" for handling REDEFINES is deferred, pending future enhancements of the Open API (or SWAGGER) specification.

However, this requirement is addressed by z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition V3.0. The capability is delivered by use of the new Service Project in the z/OS Connect EE API Toolkit. The new Service Interface Editor enables the import of COBOL data structures which include REDEFINES statements, and allows the creator of the service the option to elect the specific REDEFINES to use for a given service. Refer to z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition V3.0 Knowledge Center topic "Defining the request and response service interfaces" for further details.
