Define layout for SMF_105 records (GDPS RPO data)

Hi team,

We would like to have the possibility of reporting real time RPO information using iZPCA. This will allow us to act faster and more accurately in events that can impact the client data replication and all of its disaster recovery strategy.

The current process requires SMF data to be dumped to a flat file before we can use it, but with iZPCA capabilities to get the records straight from SMF logstream, it would be much faster and easier to report on RPO data.

We need your help to define layout for SMF_105 records. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

We only use data from subtype 1. Having all fields would be nice, but the minimum fields required to build reports are these:

Googling "SMF 105" we find at

    https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/2.3.0?topic=records-record-type-105-69-gdpsglobal-mirror

    following text:

IBM® GDPS/Global Mirror (GDPS/GM) writes record type 105 to record configuration and performance information used by the GDPS GM Monitor. For more information, see the “SMF Data” appendix in the GDPS GM Monitor documentation. If you are not a current GDPS/GM user and need to understand the mapping of this record, send an email request to gdps@us.ibm.com.
