This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Hello Dev team, do you have any update on this?
In addition, adding SMF type98 will allow us to investigate other issues Lpars and address spaces related. Recently, we engaged IBM who requested us record SMF type 98 to investigate high priority business application performance issue. With SMF type 98, IBM was able to identify Z/OS local lock suspend/contentions issues for MQ sub system address spaces. We definitely need SMF type98 to be collected and keep this data stored on table(s) for telemetry and data analytics. It's very important for us to keep historical data and to put in place reporting which will allow us to pro actively monitor our production SYSPLEXs/LPARs. Quick access and reporting capabilities will allow us to have effective agile processes in place which will allow to more efficiently deliver monitoring and reporting our SYPLEX environments.
Thanks for your help & collaboration.
