Can we get some feedback/response that IBM does or does not agree that the current RMF 74 subtype 10 support is "incomplete", given how we have explained the circumstances in prior posts, please? It appears that simply reading up the raw input record data-format is not sufficient completion to identify the record type/subtype as being "supported". Would you agree with this observation, please ? Thank you !!
** Please reconsider given this new/updated information **
Apparently, I responded incorrectly - yes, there is SMF 74.10 decoding logic present within IzPCA, however the newly supported data-fields from (starting with) the IBM z15 hardware and EADM support, those new fields were never added to any new IzPCA database table, mostly so IzPCA customers can migrate from z14 (PCiE support, from RMF 74 subtype 9) to z15 (or later/higher) with the EADM ( Extended Asynchronous Data Mover) support using RMF 74 subtype 10.
And, so, IzPCA customers are looking for vendor technology support with RMF 74 subtype 10, that being new IzPCA data tables for performance/capacity analysis.
Thank you for your note Scott. Closing this request
*disregard* -- I stand corrected -- now seeing that there is **.SDRLDEFS(DRLRSX74) logic for both EADM and SCM metrics found in the RMF 74 subtype 10.
This idea / request can be marked closed, please.
Thank you....
Scott Barry
