Let the Customer's DB2 Staff manage the Data Base Tables

Support for the software will be easier to manage. Trying to make sure the tables get updated with every upgrade is error prone requiring component reinstalls to fix missing tables / views. DB2 staff at a customer are always more intune with the internal environment then any software vendor can be ensuring updates are in place if the DDL is supplied. It will also remove the requirement for at least part of the product to having to have DB2 SYSADM access for support, which is a no, no at most shops. Then the level of access required by the IzPCA Admin can be set to less then DB2 Administrator to something more reasonable, such that all users of the software can actually "see" the ISPF Panels.

For example: 1. remove the creation of db2 objects and 2. externalize to a customizable set of ddl. The product can rely on those table(s)/object(s) being available and the customer can manage the migration and changes to those tables over time. Most if not all mainframe shops with Db2 will have an object management tool such as Broadcom RC/Compare-RC/Migrator (we have that), 2. IBM change manager, or 3. BMC Change Manager. Those tools are more efficient at comparing and migrating db2 object changes throughout the environment

This is not under consideration at this time. We need to provide a level of control over the management of the tables within the product to ensure stability for all customers. Manual management can lead to mistaken assumptions on what each customer has installed and surface problems in the future if something has not been installed or dropped as assumed.
