RELATED IDEAS

ZD&T Fixed/Term License Renewals are not clearly visible in LKC, nor are the licenses available until the day after the current/existing licenses expire.

The problems:

1) The renewal Sales Order shows in LKC, but simply says “No licenses available for this Order” with no indication that this will ever change.

2) There is guaranteed ZD&T License outage which will vary depending on the customer location, since the renewed licenses are not available until 00:00 hours EDT the day following the expiry of the current license(s).

 

Proposed Solutions:

1) In LKC, for Sales Orders for Fixed/Term License Renewals, provide a better description that informs the customer of the # of licenses purchases and exactly when they will become available (including time zone)

2) Provide overlap of licensing, such that the renewed licenses would be available sooner than the day after the expiry of the existing license(s).

    Thank you for submitting this RFE. It is consistent with our plans for the product. This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy and will be prioritized for future consideration.
