Add Vol=SER specification to ALCCKD Command

Currently, when running the ALCCKD command, a "default" VOL=SER is assigned to the newly allocated Volume. If the ALCCKD is executed for several Volumes, then ALL of those Volumes will have the SAME VOL=SER which will lead ot errors when zD&T is "brought up". The request is that the ALCCKD command should be enhanced to allow the User to specify a VOL=SER value when the Volume is allocated. This will allow the User to avoid the "Duplicate Volume" error when "bringing up" zD&T.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us; however, we have no plans to change ALCCKD at this time. Please use OS tools to initialize virtual DASD. Again, thank you for your suggestion and continued support.

I saw the documentation. However, having a "unique" VOL=SER created as part of the ALCCKD command would clearly make the process easier -- especially if you are creating MULTIPLE Volumes!

Thank you for submitting this RFE! The IBM team needs some additional information to evaluate this RFE. The following documentation link provides instructions that should allow you to run without errors: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSTQBD_12.0.1/com.ibm.zsys.rdt.guide.adcd.doc/topics/createuservol.html
