OPRMSG output to separate files

Customer Société Générale is using zD&T and OPRMSG to send commands to their z/OS system instances.
However, output of each OPRMSG command is sent into a log file with all other output from MVS.
Société Générale would like to have a separate file for each command, by specifying the output file through a parameter of OPRMSG command.

This feature is now available as part of the IBM Z Development and Test Environment 12.0.2.0.
The oprmsg_file option specifies a Linux file that is to receive OPRMSG output. For more information see the IBM zPDT Guide and Reference: http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg248205.html

We won't be able to put the output of each oprmsg command in a separate file but what we will provide is the ability to have the output from all oprmsg commands in a separate file from the emulators log file.

Hello - The idea behind having separate outputs for each OPRMSG command is to track the output for a specific command. For example, it is easier to review the startup of a CICS region if it is located into 1 single file, instead of mixed with other messages in z/OS SYSLOG. Customer wants to be able to automate the startup/shutdown of subsystems and other commands in an easy way, thus they would like to have separate output for each MVS command they issue through OPRMSG.
Feel free to send me a mail or Sametime me if you need to discuss more in details for technical implementation.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product.
Could you please elaborate on what goal you are trying to achieve with this functionality? Perhaps provide some usage scenarios?
