Extend GDPS Hyperswap Support to Linux for IBM Z

Currently when a GDPS HM Hyperswap occurs, all managed PPRC volumes under z/OS get switched to their secondary site UCB automatically and concurrent while the (z/OS) systems are up and running.
Under Linux for IBM Z (in our case RHEL 8.2), to switch to the secondary site UCBs for the ECKD Storage devices, a shutdown and IPL is necessary.

We would like to switch the UCBs under Linux concurrent by the Hyperswapmanager as it happens under z/OS to be able to use the already implemented HA features under Linux on IBM Z as we use it under z/OS and not be forced to implement another HA solution under Linux to do the same thing.

The Hyperswap should also run transparent in a KVM Environment in a Linux on IBM Z

GDPS should coordinate a hyperswap on z/OS and a zLinux instances and swap their DASD without failing a system. Applications that span z/OS and zLinux can only survive a hyperswap if both instances switch their devices. Priority: high

It sounds like including the prices xdr feature for free. We are all for it off course ;-). We too have a "High available" setup for our z/VM environments for normal maintenance, but as the business decided not to spend on xdr feauture, the environments go down in case of a HS.

WFC has z/Linux on z/VM as guests and we believe existing HS support via x/DR is adequate for our needs for the foreseeable future.

Does not apply to FIS/Worldpay implementations.
