Extend GDPS Metro Support for KVM Guest Systems

To build a KVM environment under Linux for IBM Z makes it necessary to implement new HA and DR features.

In a grown z/OS environment, GDPS Metro solves many problems which have to be solved again for Linux just by another product.

To make IBM Z wide management of ressources and systems easier, everything should be manageable by GDPS Metro in an urgent case.
Therefore GDPS should be able to move KVM guests and all depending ressources to another machine in an urgent case.

After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming release because it won?t be pursued within our planning cycle.

It's a good idea to trigger the move of ZVM guests along with z/OS systems from a GDPS script. This would reduce the complexity of planned/unplanned actions significantly. This becomes more important when DASD is switched as well. (Priority: medium)

I think this is a good idea, but the if I understood correctly this proposed solution looks to add multiple emulation and management layers from application until the instruction reaches the processor, what means loss for productivity.
Eventually this idea should be reviewed to enhance the architecture towards better productivity of processor cycles, trying naturally to not reinvent the wheel.

WFC currently plans on going down with the z/VM ship (with all zLinux guests still aboard) - there are plenty of icebergs but no KVM on our radar.

Does not apply to FIS/Worldpay implementations.
