Improvements to Load Parameter Management in Standard Actions

In our production plex, we have 576 load parameter combinations for our applications systems. Performing mass updates is cumbersome and time consuming.

We would like to see enhancements to the process thus;

1. The ability to backup these entries to a GDG (user defined) to a defined schedule (user defined)
2. The ability to restore entries from a GDG using selection criteria (e.g. by system, IPLSET name)
3. The ability to export these entries for bulk update to a flat file (akin to the function available in the System Automation Policy database and the ability to then restore back in GDPS after update

    For FI, point 3 would be worthful. If we have to change IPL Dev addresses, we would like to use an interface between SA and GDPS for this update.

    An export/import function to a flat file would be very helpful. For us at Rabobank, especially after storage hardware migrations, changing many loadparms accordingly in the panels is error sensitive.
    When it can be exported, we also have more insight in version control. Now we only have "current settings" and no information about "previous settings". So definitely useful.

    This is definitely very helpful for us too. From time to time we have to do mass updates to this defintions as well and the way we must do it today is very error-prone.
