Improve the messaging for LCP Configuration changes in GDPS

LCP is critical to our cyber protection planning.  We maintain our SGC captures for 7 days, and for security reasons wish to raise an alert of the retention period is changed.  Currently there is no GEOxxxxxW message issued just a vague GEORPT message.....

We need something more precise that we can alert on.  Ideally with the item(s) in the configuration that have been changed.

    anything to improve the reporting for LCP is vaulable to Barclays, especially messages we can trap on retention changes for our captures

    This is not a high priority for WFC but we agree anything GDPS can do to help understand changes in LCP management profile + enhanced security is a good thing. We are even more interested in dual control for LCP.

    Messaging is key in reporting and (automating) actions. This is a good example for which you want/need to be signaled to insure this was an intentional action (and not part of any action to undermine the LCP setup).

    Due to the nature of LCP and what it is accomplishing, as much alerting to modification would be extremely helpful so it is documented and we can determine if the change was appropriate.

    Indeed any improvements in monitoring side of the LCP will be useful. Including this idea.
