GEOPARM Validation should include mismatch on Flashcopy Device size.

It can happen that a storage administrator makes an error when defining volumes causing a mismatch in device size.

When activating a new DASD Config, checking is done for device sizes of PPRC source-target devices with FAILONSIZEMISMATCH=YES. Next to that, CESTPAIR will not allow size mismatch.

However, GDPS does not check on the size of defined/related Flashcopy devices. You can notice that when starting a FCESTABLISH command. If this is done manually after a dasd config you will be able to correct it before you have any need foor the FC devices. But if this is not done (or forgotten), you will find out when executing START SECONDARY, a moment you have others things on your mind.
