Add the ability to MODIFY scripts for one shot executions

Currently the GDPS scripts must be updated in the XML file and then reloaded.   It would be nice to add a function similar to the INGMDFY function in System Automation.

This GDPSMDFY function would allow you to correct an issue in a script that was in error for immediate execution and then permit the ability to remediate the actual issue during a normal change process.

 

For example I generated a script to add capacity, I had specified the wrong profile which did not exist.  When Testing and loading the script no errors were produced and the Planned action panel showed the script as green.  When I went to view / execute I was then presented with the error.   This means that the planned action script could not be executed until it was corrected.

 

If there was a GDPSMDFY that would allow me to override the current script for a one shot execution, similar to the INGMDFY feature that would have allowed me to execute the script and then return it to the defined setup.

This type of feature would also permit me the ability to add additional commands that may not have been thought of during the initial solution.
