protection of productive systems by performing Hyperswap Unplanned validations with SETIOS HYPERSWAP

When we want to perform Hyperswpa Unplanned simulation tests we use the recommended 'SETIOS HYPERSWAP' command. Hyperswap Unplanned If it finds a system that is not ready for Hyperswap (for whatever reason), it does a SYSTEM RESET to ensure the success of Hyperswap Unplanned. This seems totally adequate to us, correct when it is a real situation of Hyperswap Unplanned. But, when we want to simulate the proper functioning of the HS Unplanned, using the SETIOS HYPERSWAP command, is there a way for PHASE1 of the HS (validation) to have this situation in mind and not to drop systems(not ready HS), simply not to do the HS?

    HI,

Wouldn't it be possible to generate a 'HYPERSWAP TEST SITES' where only Hyperswap Phase1 testing is executed?

    Regards, Miguel

After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming release because it is not consistent with the product architecture and our strategy for future releases. The 'SETIOS HYPERSWAP' command.is intended to fully simulate an unplanned HyperSwap (even if a system isn't HyperSwap prepared). Providing the new function as suggested by the Idea is contrary to this. We suggest that you make sure that all systems are HyperSwap prepared prior to issuing the 'SETIOS HYPERSWAP' command or issue a planned HyperSwap.
