VPCEQURY HS command change to unnecessary the authority for issuing HYPERSW

VPCEQURY is GDPS Query Services command. Customer thought it is just query and doesn’t grant higher authority to their operator for issuing the commands such as HYPERSW. This is reasonable in terms of security, because the commands that require higher authority should be executed by the appropriate person. Therefore, customer specify UACC(NONE) for issuing HYPERSW.

However, actually VPCEQURY HS command internally issue HYPERSW SYS command, thereby it need the authority for issuing HYPERSW command. Operator doesn’t have an authority to issue HYPERSW, therefore they are not able to issue VPCEQURY HS command. Again, the commands that require higher authority should be executed by the appropriate person, and as the nature of ‘query’ command, higher authority shouldn’t be needed. Currently VPCEQURY HS command need higher authority, thereby customer is not able to classify appropriate authority.

    This requirement is satisfied by GDPS Metro 4.7 role based security which is generally available on March 29, 2024.
