CSM supports Metro Mirror with Site 4 replication, can GDPS support this configuration, too?

According to DORA regulation, it is possible to have a 2-region infrastructure with the possibility to have a synchronous copy between them, an MTMM 4-Site. This gives one the chance to do a region switch with no disruption to the customers. Nowadays, this infrastructure is only supported by CSM Metro Mirror – Metro Mirror with Site 4 replication. The idea is to have this same feature  fully supported by GDPS.

    Unfortunately, we don't yet have the infrastructure to achieve something like this, but maybe in the future. We do like the "no disruption to the customers" part, if achievable.

    Not a bad idea, but distance to region B wouldnt allow us to do this.

    Voted with high priority as this will allow site switch without outage which MGM 4-Site topology cannot provide

    Not applicable for us because of the distance, We prefer using asynch, both for GM Leg, and replication in DR site

    Would not benefit us because of region geography. Also, I'm not aware of this interpretation of the DORA regulations.

    This would not help Worldpay as our regions are too far apart. I believe this idea would only benefit clients that have DCs within MM distances.

    I think that in this moments IBM should work in this solutions because It is necesary with new banking market regulations
