Change CFRM Policy and update Normal CFRM Policy via SCRIPT (GDPS Metro)

During our Site Switch process, we use USERPROC (REXX program) to set a site-specific CFRM policy because of the way we manage structures. 

It would be great if we could do that using GDPS script or, even if updated via REXX, it would be great to have the ability to update the “Normal” CFRM policy so it is not flagged in pink until a manual intervention is performed via panel.

In summary, I would like to be able to change the current CFRM Policy and update Normal CFRM Policy via SCRIPT.

    Hi, there are some structures we want to force not to rebuild on the remote site, due to the distance, so we do not code them in the PREFLIST of all CFs but only the local site CFs. This is one of the reasons why CF NORMAL does not accommodate our Site Switch process and we need to implement a site-specific CFRM policy while we swap.

    Via USEPROC we use the SETXCF command to set the policy and monitor that all structures moved accordingly, then after the USERPROC we have an ASSIST step to confirm that they all moved correctly and that the GDPS panel is updated to reflect the new NORMAL policy. If we could set the new CFRM policy using a script, or at a minimum update the panel via script, like we do for the PREFERRED HYPERSWAP leg or PREFFERED RPFC leg, this would avoid some manual steps.

    While we understand what you are requesting, we would like to understand the why hence some questions: (1) exactly what are you doing via USERPROC?, (2) what is missing from the existing GDPS CRFM NORMAL support?, & (3) why do you need to change the CRFM policy? Thanks
