PPRC to XRC Load Address Synchronisation

For GDPS 3 site we require an automated mechanism within GDPS that synchronises any changes made from the PPRC site load address value to the the XRC load address value.

These updates should be made in “real time” and only be made if a system name exists in XRC with the same name that the update is being made for in PPRC (this clause is in here because not all systems in a production plex may exist for recovery within XRC).

The above requirement exists in relation to ensuring that in the event of a disaster (or a COB test) that XRC has the “real time” values of the production lpars load address.

In addition to the above, the Monitor 2 process should be enhanced to include a check of the PPRC Load address value against the XRC Load address value. Any discrepancy found should be rectified automatically.
