    After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming release because it won?t be pursued within our planning cycle.

    This RFE applies to External LCP for MGM 4-site as well. The requirement for FICON connectivity to the "D" copy does create significant configuration complications. The GDPS Config in the testcopy/LCP manager has to be re-defined since the serial number of the source changes following a region switch. It also requires a dynamic activate if you use symmetric device numbers (which we do) because now the source devices numbers have to be directed to the "new" D copy.
    I rate this high importance with my vote.
