Allow RACF digital certificate registration from Java interface

Currently the only way to allow users to self register their personal certificates, from CAC or PIV cards, is to use the ASIS self registration tool provided in SYS1.SAMPLIB(RACINSTL). While this tool works we are running into issue where browsers like Edge are no longer supporting Basic Authentication which is required by the tool to get the RACF ID and Password. By providing some Java classes that would allow for registration and deregistration of the certificate like the tool does using Java methods would allow us to create an interface that would be able to use form based login to get the credentials. This new Java method should be able to work in a J2EE container like WebSphere Application Server or Liberty so that it is easy to implement.

My organization has similar situation, and we also rely on the RACF self registration tool provided in SYS1.SAMPLIB(RACINSTL). We think that an additional mechanism to allow users to self register their personal certificates, from CAC or PIV cards is needed to support current and future authentication requirements.
