Ignore case remain inactive with 'Compare with' for programs that have different sequence number AND case on the same line

When we compare programs, the button 'Ignore Case' in the toolbar has no effect in Compare editor if there are both different sequence number AND different case existing in a same line.
In this case, the line displays a difference that should be eliminated.

This is currently a limitation.
Indeed in this case, there are two ignore filters that get hit on the same line of code.
Each produces their own regions of the line to omit, but since these regions are non-overlapping, it seems Eclipse ends up including them both, rather than omitting them both.
Since CompareFilters don't know about each other, there does not seem to be a clean way to mitigate this discrepancy.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. Your request is currently in line with our product strategy and we have planned it for a future release of the product. Thank you for your suggestion and continued support.
