Limit number of UNIX Files displayed under Z/OS UNIX Files

When listing files under z/OS UNIX Files folders, all the files are listed, regardless of the number of files. When listing members under MVS Files there is a preference "Default expansion page size for filters and data sets" which limits the number of members. Expanding the entire list under z/OS UNIX Files can take quite awhile

    This requirement has been re-assessed. It is not likely that this will be implemented in the next 12-24 months and so it is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months' time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.

    As a workaround, the user can use Unix filters to zero in on resources they are interested in, and these filters allow to filter by file name, not display folders, etc.
