Instead of presenting the standard dialog with user/password when connecting to a remote system, a custom Java class should be called which does a call to a custom Kerberos pass ticket system. After getting a valid information back, the connect should be done to the remote system. I did not found anything in the documentation which can do this stuff with standard RDz methods. The only thing which seems to be possible is to write a custom plugin. I found something in the CICS API reference:

public interface IConnectionCustomizer
Provides a user interface for modifying connection configurations associated with a specific connection type.
Connection customizers should be registered and bound to a specific connection type using the com.ibm.cics.core.connections.connectionCustomizersextension point.

Is it possible to get an extension point to modify the logon mechanism?

    Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. However, your request for enhancement is not currently aligned with our product strategy and vision and we have no plans to address your request in the near future. Again, thank you for your suggestion and continued support.

    A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our business strategy. Further evaluation of this RFE is underway.
