Enhancement Request for SETTIMER Command

Actor: Systems Programmer

Our team uses System Automation for z/OS for various things. One of which is utilizing Policy timers to perform some unit of work at a time-based interval. Currently operating in Netview to interact with policy timers (not Netview timers) requires you to use the SETTIMER command and work via the panels.

The command should be updated to allow modifications (i.e. add, change, delete, suspend, or resume) via command line in addition to the panel-driven method. Additionally it would be nice to be able to specify a filter via the TIMER-ID in the panel. Currently this can be done via a PIPE command to help limit the results prior to going in the SETTIMER panel.

    Dear client and dear voters,
without giving any confidence, that we can work on this RFE, we'd like to know, which of the SETTIMER modifications (i.e. add, change, delete, suspend, or resume) is most important to you.
    Thanks for your help!
    Best Regards,
